CRWG SUMMIT

TheWhy We Can’t Waitsummit took place from December 3rd through December 5th, 2012 in Miami Beach, FL, and brought together scholars, practitioners, advocates, and pundits of color from across the nation to connect, reflect, and share new ways to inspire and mobilize support for closing the racial wealth gap.

CRWG POST-ELECTION EVENT

On November 14, 2012, political analysts, policy advocates, and national thought leaders came together for Race and Wealth Inequality in the Post-Election Political Environment to analyze the role that communities of color played in the 2012 elections and explore how the administration and Congress can advance policies that promote asset building and help close the racial wealth gap.

AFRICAN AMERICANS AND THE FISCAL CLIFF

The CRWG Initiative hosted a webinar on December 19, 2012, entitled African Americans and the Fiscal Cliff: Understanding the Issues and Consequences, featuring U.S. Representative Bobby Scott (D-Va.) and Experts of Color Network Member William Spriggs (AFL-CIO).
