Dedrick Muhammad is the Senior Director of Economic Programs for the NAACP. Dedrick will be leading the Economic Program team's efforts to foster the advancement of the Association's economic advocacy goals and strengthen the NAACP's capacity to eliminate racial/ethnic disparities by providing programming, public information, quantitative and qualitative research, and measurable advocacy tools. He has over 10 years experience in leadership positions for various academic, civil rights, and non-profit organizations. Most recently he served as Senior Organizer for the Institute of Policy Studies, organizing and educating on the racial economic divide.
