Maya Rockeymoore's accomplishments in the field of asset building are numerous. She founded and currently serves as the CEO of Global Policy Solutions, a policy and consulting think tank located in Washington, DC. Dr. Rockeymoore is also a Professorial Lecturer at American University, teaching courses on The Politics and Policy of Race and Gender as well as Women, Politics, and Public Policy. Prior to her tenure at Global Policy Solutions, Dr. Rockeymoore served as Vice President for Research and Programs at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, where she founded the Center for Policy Analysis and Research (CPAR). Dr. Rockeymoore earned her B.A. in Political Science and Mass Communications from Prairie View A&M University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science and Public Policy from Purdue University. She also serves on the board of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.
